And with a simple "yea," Miller has joined the ranks of the conversational. At least he has at a level that's good enough for Henry to appreciate.

You see Henry is prone to point out that playing with Miller isn't as fun as playing with adults because Miller can't talk. But now that Miller can say "yea," and answer Henry's questions, Miller's become a lot more fun to talk to and play with.

I don't know what Henry originally asked Miller, but Miller replied, "yea" which led to this conversation about people with no hands getting hands at the hand store. Miller also interrupted Henry to point out that he has a ball on his pajamas.

Ever have one of those days where you wiped your mac and cheese in your hair? And maybe it wasn't by accident?

Did you ever get a hair in your dish? Maybe it was served from this bowl, after being purchased at Ikea.

Who's excited to watch a show?

Miller says hey, hi, and hello.

We Regret Strep

So what's a sick kid to do? Snuggle up with whoever will let him and find comfort wherever he can.

Henry Potter?

4 eyes, 2 spoons

Henry, Miller, and their friend Ailey in the bouncy house at Monkey Island. The last time we went to Monkey Island Henry left with a case of swine flu. This time it appears he left with a case of strep throat. We need to find better things to do to alleviate cabin fever in the winter, but they had so much fun while they were there.

Turns out Henry Jay is just like his Dad. When he gets on a cordless phone to talk to someone, he can't help himself from walking around. Even if it's just doing loops around the house while he's talking to Yaya.

Who's Happy to be Home?

These two gigglers in the backseat seem pretty happy entertaining each other.

You may have to crank the volume up a little bit to hear it, but Henry's got Miller cracking up. Miller also says 'cheese' to the camera in the beginning, and at one point it sounds like The Fonz, "Ehhhh!" is conversing with Tony Soprano, "Ohhhh!"

The Best Defense Against A Foggy Day in Florida?

Well sure, there's always ice cream.

Or a walk on the beach with your Yaya

And taking advantage of those quick glimpses of sunshine, even if it's windy and cold.

But the best way to ward off the chill, may be sporting a buckethead.

And if all else fails, remember you had a nice time out there yesterday

Sunshine State!

No sooner did I make yesterday's entry than the sun came out. We dashed off to the beach to take advantage, donning suntan lotion and our beach clothes, and spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine.

Friday morning we finally arrived in Florida. We stepped out of the airport and it was sunny and 75 degrees, with palm trees everywhere. Just 3 hours earlier we were in Chicago where it was 5 degrees and there was 2 feet of snow on the ground. What a difference 3 hours can make.

Unfortunately since Friday it's been chilly, foggy, and raining, but we were able to get back on the beach today for a little bit so the boys didn't get cabin fever. Grandparents either.

Despite the cool Florida weather, it's still preferred to the alternative.
